The Wedeco Ideal Horizons – 42019 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 41 watts UV bulb that has four pin on a single end. The 33.2 inch lamp gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The light bulb has a wavelength range of 254 nm. The ceramic light bulb has a T5 bulb shape and an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The lamp makes use of UV-C light to destroy and kill bacteria, molds, virus and other pathogens present in water.

This wavelength region is considered as maximum germicidal effectiveness and is highly fatal to microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, protozoa and other pathogens. The genetic material of the microorganism is deactivated when germicidal UV light passes through them and makes them incapable of multiplying.
