The Wedeco Ideal Horizons – 22001 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 11.3 inch lamp bulb that gives you a worry free performance for an entire year. The two pin on both ends base is a 14 watts UV bulb that destroys pathogens present in water. The fixture comes with high lifespan and has lower dosages of mercury to meet the demands of the environment.

The light bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM water and air disinfection filters, ultraviolet purifiers and UV sanitizers. The UV lamp is thoroughly tested and has a life of up to 10,000 hours after which the germicidal UV output diminishes while the lamp may continue to emit light.

The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. All you will need to do is to select the option above. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot.
