The Wedeco Ideal Horizons – LBRE-8 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 17 watts lamp bulb that provides you with a worry-free performance for an entire year. The four pin on a single end lamp has a T5 bulb shape and an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The ceramic lamp uses UV-C light to inactivate and kill bacteria, molds and other pathogens present in water.

Since the light bulbs are intended to destroy microorganisms it is necessary to schedule replacement of the bulbs annually to ensure efficiency of the system. These high-quality lamps has a peak UV output of 254nm that help in reacting with the genetics of microorganisms such as spores, virus, bacteria and other pathogens.

The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
