The Wedeco Ideal Horizons – LMP4090 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 22 watts light bulb that gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The 17.72 inches lamp has four pin on a single end and a wavelength range of 254nm. This wavelength acts on the genetics of the microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing.

Researchers are of the opinion that this method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process. It does not affect the chemistry, pH or taste of water in the process and is a much better option to chemicals and their bi-products.

The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
